The primary goal of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Summit, organized by the Chicagoland Society of Echocardiography, is to advance the knowledge and clinical skills of healthcare providers in diagnosing, managing, and treating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The program seeks to improve patient outcomes by equipping participants with the latest evidence-based strategies, technological advancements, and therapeutic approaches for HCM care, with a special focus on echocardiography.

1: Understanding the Pathophysiology and Clinical Presentation of HCM - Overview of HCM genetics and phenotypes - Case-based discussion of clinical presentations Session

2: Advanced Imaging Techniques for HCM Diagnosis - Echocardiographic findings in HCM (2D, 3D, and Doppler imaging) - Role of cardiac MRI in HCM evaluation.

3: Emerging Therapies and Personalized Management - Overview of pharmacological options, including Camzyos (mavacamten). - Risk stratification for sudden cardiac death and ICD placement.

4: Integrating Genetic Counseling and Testing into HCM Care

- Best practices for identifying at-risk family members.

- Practical approaches to genetic counseling and testing.

Interactive Case Studies:

- Participants will work through real-world cases to apply their knowledge of HCM diagnosis and management.

Panel Discussion and Q&A:

- Multidisciplinary panel addressing participant questions and challenges in HCM care.
